Production Lead
Location:Quedgeley, Gloucester
Hours:Pitman shift pattern, day shifts only
Salary:39,963.32 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve targets and meet schedules through proactive planning and problem-solving.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Ensure effective communication across shifts, including detailed handovers.
- Manage real-time operational adjustments based on production needs and material availability.
- Oversee resource allocation and inventory levels, ensuring ERP system accuracy.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Enforce health, safety, and quality standards while promoting best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and team development experience.
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement.
- ERP and production management system proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
