Our organisation is on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Corporate Landlord Principal to join our Property & Development team!About the Role: As a Corporate Landlord Principal, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of our corporate estate, ensuring that we deliver cost-effective property management services aligned with the council's policies and legislation. Your expertise will be essential in demonstrating best value across all property transactions and lease management events.Key Responsibilities: * Engagement: Collaborate directly with tenants, external agents, surveyors, and lawyers.* Lease Management: Oversee rent reviews, lease renewals, restructures, and expiries.* Financial Oversight: Monitor rent collections and approve service charge budgets.* Compliance: Conduct property inspections and ensure tenant compliance with leases and statutory obligations.* Insurance Coordination: Work with in-house teams on managing claims and valuations.* EPC Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing energy performance strategies.About You: To thrive in this role, you will need:* A degree in Estate Management or equivalent.* Post-qualification experience in commercial organisations or local authorities with relevant investment and development experience.* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to meet commercial and contractual deadlines.* A knack for negotiation and the ability to influence a range of stakeholders effectively.Why Join Us?
