An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Coordinator to join a dynamic, family-owned homebuilding company due to the increase in their workload. This role is ideal for candidates based in Gloucestershire, with the flexibility for weekly travel to the Head Office in Bristol and various residential project sites across the South West region. You will ideally come from an engineering background and have experience working on UK-based residential projects, although this is desirable. I am keen to speak to other candidates who could be suitable too.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate technical aspects of residential development projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the design, planning, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Oversee the production of technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Liaise with external consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure technical specifications are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, ensuring a clear understanding of designs and specifications.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • UK-based experience, ideally in residential construction or engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building regulations and residential project development.
  • Background in engineering (preferably structural).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve technical challenges.
  • Does not require sponsorship in the UK
