Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Cinderford, Gloucestershire with occasional site visits across the region

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant, Junior or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a well established yet growing construction company who work on a variety of interesting Civil and groundworks projects, where you will have ample opportunity to gain valuable experience and the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally with full chartership support.

This company is a well-established and regarded construction company who operate around the Southwest. They work for a number of interesting clients as well as acting as a principal contractor themselves. With a lot of their projects being Civil and groundworks they work within a variety of sectors. And their focus on high quality of service has found them great success since establishing. As of late they have an increase in workload and that is why they are looking to add to their dynamic workload with this exciting opportunity.

In this role you will take on a number of responsibilities with a focus on learning and gaining valuable experience from the talented senior members in the team. You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the commercial team throughout projects. You will be assisting in the preparation of tender documents and the quotations for submission to clients. Another responsibility will be placing orders for the supply of labor, plant and materials. Finally, amongst other responsibilities you will be responsible helping with the preparation of valuations of the work for payment that has been agreed with the client.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a candidate with either a degree or HNC with some previous experience in the Construction sector who is looking to both personally and professionally develop, as well as someone who holds a full UK drivers license to be able to travel to sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior, Graduate or assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established where you will be exposed to a number of interesting Civil and Groundworks projects, all whilst having a plethora of training opportunities, full support on chartership and the opportunity to progress your career as they continue to grow.
