Position Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedQuantity Surveyorto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks quantity surveying and project planning, with a proven track record of managing costs and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates for groundworks projects.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project plans.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on financial performance.
- Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in groundworks.
- Strong knowledge of project planning and management.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
