We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an innovative company specialising in retail and interior fit-out projects. Based in Gloucester, this company has a wealth of experience and is dedicated to delivering quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor due to ongoing growth. The ideal candidate will have experience with fit-out projects, preferably in the retail, hospitality, and commercial sectors. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost plans, budget estimates, and understanding construction contracts.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview:

  • Join an interior fit-out company based in Gloucester
  • Prepare, regulate, and analyze costs for tenders and contracts
  • Value completed work on site and certify payments
  • Conduct value engineering
  • Estimate cost variations
  • Prepare cost reports and cash flows
  • Complete final accounts
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements:

  • A team player eager to work with clients and colleagues
  • Ambitious and keen to develop professionally
  • Experienced in the roles of a Quantity Surveyor
  • Excellent at managing workloads
  • Confident in client meetings and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Methodical approach to tasks
  • Experience working for a main contractor, ideally on fit-out packages
  • Background in cost estimating is desirable
  • Within commutable distance to Gloucester and possess a full driving license

Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration:

  • Competitive salary: £30,000-£55,000 (dependent on experience)
