A main contractor in new builds is seeking a Quantity Surveyor on a full-time permanent basis. They are one of the leading construction companies in their sector and been established for over 50 years.
About role
This will be an office based role with a mixture of on site and project meetings.
Will be mainly working on two large projects in new builds.
Main duties:
- Manage projects simultaneously
- Analyse estimates, costs and budgets
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and awarding contracts
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with budget and schedule.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to provide cost advice and support.
About candidate
- Must have proven experience in new builds
- Proficiency in cost-estimating software and tools.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Commercially aware.
- A valid UK driving licence
