Are you an Engineer or similar, looking to join a market-leading company that specialises in truck-mounted forklifts? They offer comprehensive on-the-job training and overtime opportunities to increase your earnings.
Established in 1976, this specialised company is at the forefront of forklift truck innovation, supplying to the civil and transport sectors and providing high-end machines to customers throughout the UK. They are now looking to expand their workforce to meet the growing demand.
In this varied role, you will receive comprehensive training while working both in the workshop and in the field, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on forklifts, including specialised Palfinger-mounted models, for a range of clients within a local area. This role also requires flexibility, as you will need to respond to customer breakdowns and attend call-outs at short notice.
This role would be ideal for someone with a background in the Army, plant, or agriculture, who has hands-on experience and is looking to join a stable company that offers a company van, training and opportunities for overtime to enhance earnings.
The Role:
- Repairing and Servicing Truck mounted Forklifts
- Planned and reactive maintenance on forklifts
- On site and field based
- Perform PDI's on new machines prior to delivery to the customer
- You will need to be flexible due to the need to attend call outs to customer breakdowns at short notice
- Monday to Friday (39 hours a week)
The Person:
- Engineer or similar
- Background in Forklifts, HGV, Agricultural or Plant
- Previously worked in a hands-on environment
