Hays Education are recruiting for a vibrant co-edsecondary school based in Gloucester, who are looking for a passionateTeacher of English for KS3 - KS4. This role is a long-term temporary position,on a full or part-time basis.
Your new role
- Planning, preparingand delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs and abilitiesof all learners.
- Assessing, recordingand reporting on the progress and attainment of students
- Providing feedbackand guidance to students to help them improve their skills and confidence
- Contributing to thedevelopment of the English curriculum and departmental policies
- Collaborating withother teachers and staff to share best practices and support the school'svision and ethos
- Participating inprofessional development activities and meetings
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant degreeand a qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience ofteaching English at KS3 and KS4 level
- A passion for theEnglish language and literature and a desire to inspire students
- Excellentcommunication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- A willingness tocontribute to the extracurricular activities of the school
