Reed Education Bristol are currently seeking an SEMH Teacher to fulfil a full-time, temporary role for at least the first half of the Summer Term.
The school is based in the heart of Gloucester, providing an ambitious and supportive curriculum for young people across KS3/4, with SEMH needs as primary need. Secondary needs can be linked to Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and/or speech and language and communication needs (SLCN), severe trauma, attachment disorder. The school offer first-class facilities and resources to support students with their learning journey whilst ensuring all needs are met to their full potential, whilst developing progress against the outcomes within their Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
As the SEMH Teacher, you will:
- Demonstrate patience, resilience, and adaptability in your teaching approach.
- Be passionate about working with young people with SEMH.
- Have experience with SEN/SEMH and knowledge of EHCPs.
- Be available five days per week from April 2025 ongoing for continuity
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
Salary: £169-195 per day, depending on experience.
