A leading player in the Food industry, specialising in the production and distribution of high-quality products. Position Overview: As a Telesales person in the Food industry, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of products to restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, and other foodservice establishments. Your primary goal is to expand their customer base, increase sales, and maintain strong client relationships. This role will require effective communication, negotiation, and an understanding of the Food industry. You will also be required to undertake some administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential customers in the foodservice industry, including restaurants, hotels, caterers, and retailers, to expand our client base.
Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively generating leads, conducting product presentations, and negotiating sales contracts.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Product Feedback: Gather feedback from customers regarding product quality, packaging, and pricing, and relay this information to the product development team for continuous improvement.
Admin Roles: Invoicing, excel spreadsheets, in house systems and various admin tasks to assist the team at Head Office,
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in telesales, preferably within the Food industry or a related field.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present and negotiate.
Customer-Oriented: A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and various departments within the organisation.
Computer Literate: experience using Excel spreadsheets and Outlook
You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of the companys office in Gloucester.
