We are working with a a leading pharmacy in Gloucester, providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to their local community. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dedicatedPharmacy Managerto join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who is passionate about leadership and patient care, with the flexibility of Monday to Friday or 5 days a week to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring it runs efficiently and in compliance with GPhC standards.
  • Manage, support, and develop a team of pharmacy staff to deliver excellent customer service and care.
  • Dispense medications accurately and provide clinical advice to patients regarding their prescriptions and healthcare needs.
  • Ensure the safe and effective storage and handling of medications, as well as the proper management of stock levels.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and the local community.
  • Drive business growth through the promotion of pharmacy services, health campaigns, and community outreach.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and team performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a pharmacy management role (community pharmacy preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage a team and support staff development
