They are looking for an individual with a background in Psychology or someone with relevant experience working with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. This role offers a valuable opportunity to work as part of a supportive team, providing crucial support to children with additional needs.

The school is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to work with:

  • Pupils with ASD and ADHD
  • Groups of pupils with SEN 1:1 and in groups

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children's behaviour and learning in the classroom.
  • Assisting pupils with understanding and following the teacher's instructions.
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support in the Learning Support department.
  • Tracking and recording pupil progress to ensure their development.
