Join our dedicated team that provides exceptional support for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The School:

A specialist school offering a fresh start for young people who have struggled in traditional settings. The focus is on providing a nurturing and supportive environment where students can thrive. With small class sizes and a strong, committed team, youll be part of something truly rewarding.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students excluded from mainstream schools, helping them re-engage positively with education.
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support, using de-escalation techniques when needed.
  • Delivering tailored learning experiences that meet each student's individual needs.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated team to create and implement behaviour and learning plans.

What Were Looking For:

  • Patience and Empathy: Youre great at understanding others' needs and staying calm under pressure.
  • Adaptability: No two days are the same, so you need to be flexible and think on your feet.
  • Good Sense of Humour: A light-hearted approach helps build rapport and keeps the learning experience enjoyable.
  • Resilience: Youll be working with young people whove experienced trauma and frustration, so youll need to stay positive and motivated.

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:
