As Team Leader, you will be pivotal in managing and coordinating our Business Support team, ensuring smooth, efficient operations across the organisation. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and other departments, providing HR administration, system expertise, and frontline IT support. You will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative culture, ensuring that the office runs smoothly, and supporting the wider organisation in achieving its goals.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • At least three years of administration experience, ideally in a busy office environment.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic communication tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A passion for working within a values-led organisation, with a commitment to equality, diversity, and anti-oppressive practices.
  • A flexible approach, with a willingness to work outside of office hours when required.

What will your role look like?

  • Lead and manage the Business Support team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide HR administration, including recruitment, staff inductions, and DBS checks.
  • Be the system administrator for our Charms database and provide IT and communication systems support.
  • Manage administrative support for governance meetings, liaising with SLT and Trustees.
  • Maintain high standards in office management and business support functions.
  • Deliver excellent front-of-house services, ensuring professional customer interactions.
  • Oversee meeting coordination, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
