We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic youth worker to join a supportive team across South Gloucestershire. The role is available immediately and is a long-term placement with opportunities to make a positive impact on students in various settings throughout the area.

As a Youth Worker, you will provide essential emotional support to students, helping them navigate their feelings, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. You will work alongside teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a safe and supportive environment for young people.

Your role will include supporting students daily, ensuring they are engaging with interventions and applying the coping strategies they have learned.

The need for a Youth Worker arises from the fact that many students across South Gloucestershire come from challenging backgrounds. Some have experienced trauma in their childhoods and require additional support to regulate their emotions in constructive ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
