The ideal Procurement Manager will have:

Extensiveprocurement management expertise.
Deliveredchange and cost savings in a complex organisation in the public or privatesector
Workedwithlimiteddirect supervisionand be abletobalanceshortmedium and long termpriorities.
Usedanalytical techniques to turn data andinformationinto actions that improve value for money.
Evaluatedthe makeup of cost andusedcost reduction techniques to improve value for money.
Built and maintainedproductiverelationships, includingthosewithkeystakeholders andexternal organisations.
IdeallyLargely FM, transport and corporate infrastructure contracts but wider procurement experience in social care and public health would be valuable
Workedindependently or with others to deliverdiscreetprojects.
