The ideal Procurement Manager will have:

  • Extensiveprocurement management expertise.

  • Deliveredchange and cost savings in a complex organisation in the public or privatesector

  • Workedwithlimiteddirect supervisionand be abletobalanceshortmedium and long termpriorities.

  • Usedanalytical techniques to turn data andinformationinto actions that improve value for money.

  • Evaluatedthe makeup of cost andusedcost reduction techniques to improve value for money.

  • Built and maintainedproductiverelationships, includingthosewithkeystakeholders andexternal organisations.

  • IdeallyLargely FM, transport and corporate infrastructure contracts but wider procurement experience in social care and public health would be valuable

  • Workedindependently or with others to deliverdiscreetprojects.
