We are seeking dedicated Social Workers and Senior Social Workers for our locality teams across Gloucestershire. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families, ensuring their safety and improving their outcomes.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Engage directly with children, young people, and their families to assess needs and coordinate with multi-agency teams to deliver tailored interventions.
  • Maintain and manage a caseload, adjusting the complexity and number of cases in line with experience and service needs.
  • Develop and implement outcome-focused plans for children and families, ensuring sustained positive outcomes.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports and statements for various professional settings, including legal proceedings.
  • Ensure all documentation and case files are maintained accurately and up-to-date, adhering to data protection regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Recognised qualification in Social Work.
  • Completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
  • DBS clearance.
  • Experience in frontline social work, particularly in child protection and statutory childcare.
  • Strong assessment and risk management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
