Our Client, Gloucestershire Council, is seeking a Social Work Team Manager to join their Children in Care Team.

This is a Hybrid Working Role!

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Knowledge of the Family Intervention project Model
  • Experience of offering outreach support to children and families
  • Knowledge of key legislation relevant to professional social care work
  • Knowledge of the functions of a health and social care department and related agencies
  • Knowledge of methods to assess performance and achievement of targets in social work practice
  • Experience of managing a complex case load
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work and manage time effectively
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills with clients and other health professionals
  • Experience of producing reports for a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and lead a team.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
  • Must have minimum of 3 years’ post qualifying experience
