We are currently working with an exciting and growing authority based in the Gloucestershire area where they are looking for an experienced Disabilities social worker to help work towards the support for families and communities to give every child the best chance of a happy and rewarding life, where they have exciting transformation plans in place.
As a Senior Social Worker/ Social Worker in the Disabled Children's Service, you will be instrumental in delivering a first-class service to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people of Gloucestershire. Through building positive relationships with colleagues within the service and partner agencies you will make sure we are able to provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.
You will be part of a growing service which boast a permanent and stable management team, committed to driving forward improvement and outcomes for disabled children and young people.

  • between 37,938- 39,513per annum for a Social Worker or between 40,476- 45,718per annum for a Senior Social Worker subject to experience

Requirements:
  • Social Work England registration
  • a recognised qualification in Social Work
  • to have completed your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012)
