Pertemps is seeking qualified and experienced Social Workers for the 0-18 Children with Disabilities team in South Gloucestershire, offering a salary of £35 per hour.
The role involves statutory social work in areas such as Child Protection and Care proceedings, focusing on supporting vulnerable children with disabilities.
Candidates should have experience in court work and be willing to develop skills to assess capacity and authorize deprivation of liberty.
A minimum of three days in the office per week is required, along with a valid driving license and access to a suitable vehicle.
Previous experience in a Children with Disabilities team is preferred, but those with Child Protection experience will also be considered.

Social Worker, £35ph, CWD, South GloucestershirePertemps are recruiting for qualified and experienced Social Workers to join the 0-18 Children with Disabilities team. The 0-18 Children with Disabilities social care team undertakes statutory social work in the areas of Child protection, Children in Need and the initial stages of Looked after Children, as well as working within the Public Law outline and Care proceedings on occasion. The postholder will ensure vulnerable children and young people with a significant impairment or disability are identified, protected and supported to achieve positive outcomes through the provision of well planned, integrated and coordinated services. They will have experience of court work, as candidates will need, or be willing to develop experience and skills to assess a person’s capacity and authorise any deprivation of liberty before the courtsThe postholder would need to be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week - but also needs to be in the office when on duty. Requirements:

Qualified social worker with relevant Social Work England registration to practice and a good understanding of asset and strengths-based approaches to social work.
Previous experience in a Children with Disabilities team is preferred, but those with Child Protection experience will also be considered
Must be a car driver with access to a suitable vehicle insured for business use.
