Social Worker, £35ph, Early Help Community, GloucestershirePertemps are recruiting for a skilled Early Help Community Social Worker to join Gloucestershire’s dedicated team, focusing on providing advice and guidance to practitioners concerned about the welfare of children. This is a countywide role with flexibility in office location based on the successful candidate’s preference. After onboarding, the role can primarily be worked from home.Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer advice and guidance to practitioners (not members of the public or parents) via telephone, email, and occasionally in face-to-face settings such as TAF meetings.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the countywide duty line for Tewkesbury and Forest areas, working alongside another social worker.
  • Ensure children receive high-quality support at the appropriate level of intervention.
  • Collaborate with senior social workers and management for oversight and peer support.
  • Participate in a well-established and smoothly operating duty system.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in MASH (thresholds/triage) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of services in Gloucestershire, including statutory and non-statutory services.
  • Familiarity with Gloucestershire’s Levels of Intervention.
  • SWE registered
