Accommodation or mileage support up to £150 per week (Terms & Conditions apply).Role OverviewPertemps are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join Glucestershire’s dynamic Children & Families Team in Cheltenham. The role involves holding a manageable caseload of approximately 18 children and delivering evidence-based interventions with a focus on timeliness and positive outcomes for children and families.This role requires a mix of Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC) cases, including some court work. The successful candidate will join a supportive team committed to providing high-quality services for children, young people, and their families.Key Responsibilities:

Manage a varied caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC cases, including court proceedings as required.
Conduct timely assessments and interventions that are evidence-based and outcome-focused.
Ensure children and families receive effective, needs-led support that maximises safety and well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory guidelines and council policies.
Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Conduct face-to-face visits with children

Work Arrangements: Flexible working arrangements are available, balancing team needs and personal life. Hybrid working model: 3 days per week in the office, with the possibility of home working for the remaining days.Requirements:

Social Work England registered.
Proven experience in managing a mixed caseload, including CIN, CP, and CIC cases.
Experience in court work and report writing.
Strong assessment, planning, and organisational skills.
Ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and professional networks.
