Are you an experienced and compassionate Anaesthetic Practitioner looking to make a difference? Join our dynamic team in Gloucester and play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care in a state-of-the-art theatre setting.

The Role

As a Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will work alongside skilled surgeons, theatre nurses, and operating department practitioners to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their surgical journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after anaesthetic procedures.
  • Assisting anaesthetists in the delivery of general, regional, and local anaesthesia.
  • Monitoring patients during surgery and responding promptly to any changes in their condition.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Contributing to the development of best practices and participating in continuous professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse (RN) with anaesthetic qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC or NMC.
  • Proven experience in anaesthetic support within a theatre environment.
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills.
  • A patient-centred approach with a commitment to high standards of care.
