The Role:As an Autism Support Assistant, you will work alongside a dedicated team of specialists to ensure students can reach their full potential and are supported throughout their academic journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining a positive and consistent classroom environment
  • Leading engaging activities tailored to students' needs
  • Following individual care plans for each student
  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students with autism
  • Helping with the development of social and emotional skills
  • Assisting with the management of any challenging behaviours
  • Encouraging student participation in class and school activities
