SEN Teaching assistant roles - Gloucester

I am currently looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant, who is highly experienced with SEN requirements or has had enough of experience in 1:1 roles and feels comfortable supporting a non-verbal pupils with down syndrome.

Role requirements

This school requires a candidate who has experience with SEND roles or is extremely able and capable in pastoral care. The role includes working with a pupil that is non-verbal and has down syndrome. The pupil has recently moved over to the UK and predominantly understands Arabic; as he is non-verbal however, a candidate who is experienced and confident is also extremely desirable for this role.

For this specific role, it is necessary to have experience in SEN/SEMH and/or pastoral care. It is extremely important candidates who apply for this role have knowledge of behavioural management and any other additional SEN/SEMH requirements,
