Are you experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A primary school in Yate, South Gloucestershire, is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a long-term, full-time role with potential for a permanent position.

Role Details:

Position: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Yate, South Gloucestershire
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £85-£95 per day
Contract: Long-term, full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 3:45pm)
Parking: On-site car park available
Transport: Accessible by bus and local transport links

Responsibilities:

Support children 1:1 and in small groups
Assist with lesson planning and preparing resources
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create a positive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, or Colourful Semantics
Experience with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech & Language Difficulties, ADHD, or similar needs
Willingness to work across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
