TeachMatch Recruitment Agency is excited to be recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and dedicated team at a leading SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide group support to children with various needs such as SEMH
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Support students in their social, emotional, and academic development
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
What We’re Looking For:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable SMEH, Autism and ADHD)
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
