We are looking for a seasoned Procurement Manager for an initial 3-month contract.

The Procurement Manager will provide commercial input to help shape and develop commercial thinking that improvesoutcomes and value for money..

This is a hybrid role with at least one day a week based in the Gloucester Office.

Up to £574 per day (inside IR35, via an umbrella company)

The ideal Procurement Manager will have:

  • Extensive procurement management expertise.

  • Delivered change and cost savings in a complex organisation in the public or private sector

  • Worked with limited direct supervision and be able to balance short medium and long term priorities.

  • Used analytical techniques to turn data and information into actions that improve value for money.

  • Evaluated the makeup of cost and used cost reduction techniques to improve value for money.

  • Built and maintainedproductive relationships, including those with key stakeholders and external organisations.

  • Ideally Largely FM, transport and corporate infrastructure contracts but wider procurement experience in social care and public health would be valuable

  • Worked independently or with others to deliver discreet projects.
