Your new companyWe are looking to recruit a permanent Procurement Specialist to join an organisation based in Gloucestershire that provides a wide range of environmental services to an umbrella of public sector bodies, including waste services, grounds maintenance, gardening, street cleaning & more.Your new roleIn this role, you'll play an integral part of the Contract & Procurement team by helping to support the organisation in providing timely, efficient and cost-effective services to its stakeholders. You'll be managing a portfolio of procurement projects and covering a wide variety of supplies, ranging from small spend framework call off, to commodities, fleet, waste and more.You will be delivering procurement across the organisation, from commissioning through to contract management and renewals, helping to support all tender activities across the business.This is a great position for someone who is looking to take a step-up, or gain experience in a wide range of categories.What you'll need to succeed

  • Public sector procurement experience, specifically working knowledge of PCR15 regulations
  • Confident stakeholder and supplier management at all levels, with the ability to build and maintain key relationships.
  • Comfortable working both independently and with others
  • Experience of managing small and large public sector tenders
  • Either hold, or be working towards CIPS Level 3 or relevant qualifications
