About the Role:

Are you a recent graduate or junior looking to kickstart your career in supply chain management? We are seeking a motivated junior candidate to join our clients supply chain team. This trainee position offers a fantastic opportunity to start in an administrative role with clear pathways for growth and development within the supply chain field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Manage and process orders received via our CRM system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with sales, production, and stores teams on various projects.
  • Daily Ordering: Ensure daily ordering of components to meet production requirements.
  • Order Management: Place, track, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders (POs) and assist in negotiating terms with suppliers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • MS Office Proficiency: Basic skills in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (training will be provided).
  • Supplier Communication: Good communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers.
  • Administrative Experience: Any previous experience in an administrative role is a plus.
  • ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems is advantageous but not essential.
