Our client, a prominent local government organisation, is seeking a skilled Estates Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Yate. This is a temporary position that offers an attractive daily rate of £400 and a full-time working pattern. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a portfolio of complex cases, independently prioritising and finding solutions to problemsConduct property valuations and lead on acquisitions and disposalsAdvise and assist with the supervision of team membersExemplify our client's values and behaviours
Essential Requirements:
Degree in Estate Management or equivalent, preferably with membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered SurveyorsPost-qualification experience in a commercial organisation or local authorityStrong IT skills, including proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheet packagesExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver projectsEffective negotiation skills
Desirable Skills:
Registered Valuer qualificationKnowledge of various methods of marketing, disposal, and acquisition of land and buildingsExperience of Local Government practises and procedures
