Hays are now looking for an IT Service Manager/ Server Manager. £360 - £380 p/d (Inside IR35)Location: GloucestershireHybrid Working: 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH(Potential to become perm after 6 months/ £53-£60k) What We Are Looking For

  • Expert knowledge of a broad range of information technologies to enable informed decision-making, including Server infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, VPN, firewall, etc.
  • High level technical knowledge surrounding Microsoft Servers and associated services, VMWare (and Nutanix), Linux, M365. Server hardware and storage solutions, including hyperconverged technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate with staff in all disciplines and at all levels
  • Good leadership skills leading and team of technical individuals, experience of Service Management
  • Proven management skills, including meeting management, writing business cases and senior management reports

In the role you will support and lead on certain aspects of the implementation of the IT strategy across the organisation including the management (but not necessarily the day to day technical operation) of Information Technology services and facilities.Managing the planning, improvement and delivery of IT systems, equipment and services to provide secure and accurate information that will support and enable efficient and effective patient care, using project management skills and methodology with user/stakeholder engagement.Supporting the wider Digital Services team in developing the service provided by the IT Service Support team.Coordinating the procurement, maintenance, upgrading and operating costs of IT Server systems, including hardware and softwareWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV
