About the Role:
As a Plating Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our plating processes. This temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with chemicals and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Monitor daily and weekly quality control checks for plating solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Mould Preparation: Prepare moulds for the plating process by taping up and shielding as necessary.
  • Tank Monitoring: Regularly oversee all products within the plating tanks to ensure they adhere to the correct plating schedule.
  • Fixture Repair: Utilise your basic electrical and mechanical skills to repair fixtures and fittings essential for the plating process.
  • Cleaning Duties: Maintain a clean and tidy plating shop area, including washing floors and tanks.
  • Water Management: Monitor and maintain the deionised water and effluent plant to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diamond Cleaning: Clean diamond sieves as required, aligning with production needs.
