Are you a Mechanical Engineer or similar looking to join a market leading company who offer full on the job training and overtime to increase your earnings?

Established in 1976, this specialised company is at the forefront of forklift truck innovation, supplying to the civil and transport sectors and providing high-end machines to customers throughout the UK. They are now looking to expand their workforce to meet the growing demand.

In this diverse role, you will receive comprehensive training while working both in the workshop and in the field, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on forklifts, including specialised Palfinger-mounted models, for a range of clients within a local area. This role also requires flexibility, as you will need to respond to customer breakdowns and attend call-outs at short notice.

This role would be ideal for an experienced Mechanical Engineer or someone with a similar background in plant or agriculture, who is looking to join a growing company that provides comprehensive on-the-job training and opportunities for overtime to boost earnings.

The Role:

  • Repairing and Servicing Truck mounted Forklifts
  • Planned and reactive maintenance on forklifts
  • On site and field based
  • Perform PDI's on new machines prior to delivery to the customer
  • You will need to be flexible due to the need to attend call outs to customer breakdowns at short notice
  • Monday to Friday (39 hours a week)

The Person:

  • Mechanical Engineer or similar
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems, with the ability to independently diagnose machine faults
  • Background in Forklifts, HGV, Agricultural or Plant
