My client is seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join Their team in Gloucester. This role involves servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Wastewater treatment plants, sewage pumps, and wastewater systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, troubleshoot, and maintain sewage treatment plants, sewage pumps, and wastewater systems.
  • Handle both electrical and mechanical components of the systems.
  • Communicate with the scheduling team or line manager daily to report issues and update customers.
  • Provide feedback on parts used and work needed in line with procedures.
  • Ensure van stock is kept up-to-date with necessary parts and tools.
  • Conduct on-the-job training as directed by the line manager.
  • Complete comprehensive reports after each site visit.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the sewage treatment industry or a similar engineering role.
  • Ability to fault-find in various demanding environments.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Qualifications in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • 17th, 18th, or 19th edition electrical qualifications (preferred but not essential).
  • Full UK driving license.
