A leading food manufacturer is looking for a Machine Operators / Production Operatives to work on the premises of its modern, automated, and clean site in the centre of Gloucester.

RECRUITING NOW FOR JANUARY 2025 following and assessment in November and induction in December.


PAY: starting at £16.01 flat rate on 4 on 4 off pattern raising to up to £19.58 depending on the role, skills and experience + overtime if applicable

HOURS: Mix of 12 hrs days and nights shifts on a pattern, however you must be fully flexible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
* Running machinery/equipment to meet targets
* Quality checking the product
* Collecting data from the line and recording it accurately

* Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
* Packaging the product

* Conducts and adheres to cleaning and allergen control regimes
* Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.


PERSON SPECIFICATION:


* National school leaver qualifications in Reading and Comprehension, Writing and Mathematics.

The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience in a Manufacturing/Production role, preferably within the food industry however training will be given.

* Applicant must be a committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail.

* IT Skills- Must be competent in the use of basic software.
