Role Overview: As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will encompass both audit and accounts preparation, allowing you to showcase your expertise and contribute to the development of the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business operations and provide valuable financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and fostering their growth.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and changes in accounting and auditing standards.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Substantial experience in audit and accounts preparation within an accounting practice.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and UK GAAP.
  • Proficiency in using audit software, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
