Description
Accounts Assistant - Godalming
- As the Accounts Assistant, your role is essential in supporting the Finance team with the accurate and timely management of financial data, account reconciliations, and process improvements.
- You will be responsible for key financial activities, such as regular reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts, and taking ownership of prepayments, accruals, and other balance sheet items.
- Your work will be crucial to maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting, supporting budgeting and compliance activities, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- You will work closely with the Financial Controller, the Finance Director, and department heads to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.
- You will work closely with the income and accounts payable teams to support the processing of transactions and ensure financial data is recorded correctly. Additionally, you will assist in finance projects, support ad hoc queries from budget holders, and contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting across the organisation.
Profile
A successful applicant will be available on short notice & have some experience with the above
Job Offer
Salary £32,000 - £35,000
