With offices across Europe, they are committed to providing high-quality solutions to their clients in various industries. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee and manage their IT operations.

Role Overview: The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the relationship with the outsourced IT service provider, ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services across the organization. This role will require strategic planning, coordination of IT initiatives, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the relationship with the outsourced IT service provider.
  • Ensure IT services are delivered effectively and align with the company's operational needs.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess technology needs and identify solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in partnership with the service provider.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures to enhance security and efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of the IT service provider and provide feedback.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in IT management, preferably within the construction or project management industry.
  • Background supporting a Microsoft Cloud based Infrastructure environment
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and best practices.
  • Experience managing outsourced IT service providers and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions, infrastructure management, and enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Budget management experience with the ability to optimize IT spending.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar IT management role.
