A highly skilled Quantity Surveyor is sought to join a growing team based in Farnham, responsible for managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
The organisation operates as a main contractor, property developer, and house builder, delivering a range of residential projects throughout Surrey, Hampshire, and West Sussex. Projects include high-end new builds and extensive refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates and project budgets
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess requirements for materials, labour, and time
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor tenders
- Oversee project costs and contractual obligations through all project stages
- Maintain precise financial records and manage overall project finances
- Provide expert guidance on contractual claims and dispute resolution
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field is beneficial but not essential
- Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in cost control and contract management

- Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience
