TPF Recruitment are working with a prominent accountancy practice that is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to oversee a portfolio of non-audit clients in their Godalming office. This role will involve managing a diverse client base with a portfolio value of approximately £500,000. You’ll work closely with clients from a variety of industries and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service and the smooth running of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of non-audit clients with fees around £500,000, ensuring all deadlines are met and work is carried out within budget.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients across various areas, including tax, payroll, PSA agreements, P11Ds, etc.
  • Provide effective solutions to partners on complex client issues, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Assist in monitoring and developing junior staff, providing constructive feedback and supporting their professional growth.
  • Respond promptly to client queries and manage commercial opportunities, both internally and externally, to drive business growth.
  • Take ownership of client relationships, ensuring partners have confidence that deadlines and expectations are being met, but know when to escalate issues.
  • Identify and manage client risks while maintaining the highest level of service and adherence to deadlines.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, including proposals, presentations, and networking events.
  • Provide clear instruction and guidance to staff, actively contributing to meetings, workshops, and training opportunities.
  • Commit to continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure technical knowledge remains up-to-date and relevant.
Requirements
