This market-leading, professional services organisation based near Godalming are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. You will be joining an expanding organisation that offers great flexibility and a team-orientated environment. Furthermore, this role can be offered on a mostly remote basis, hybrid or mostly in the office if that is preferred. This will be a brilliant role for an experienced Finance Manager that is looking for a new challenge in a varied and busy finance position.

Finance Manager- About The Role

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 and will be reporting into the CFO. You will play a crucial role in supporting with the daily running of the internal finance function as well as assisting with other areas of the business. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for the statutory reporting of all group companies.
  • VAT returns for all group companies, where applicable.
  • Management responsibilities for the internal finance team and Credit Control function.
  • Managing the cash flow forecast.
  • Control of company banking relationships.
  • Management of the FX relationships and ensuring that services meet the needs of the clients.
  • Management of client trust accounts. Setting up, maintenance and closures.
  • Providing strong leadership and supporting the team with any developments/changes.

The successful Finance Manager will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • QBE or part/fully qualified candidates will be considered
  • FX experience is essential
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Xero knowledge would be preferable
