Fantastic opportunity to join a successful Wealth Management firm, as an Employed Financial Planner, who are growing with the times. A client bank is provided and new business is encouraged. The role will be office based.

Our Clients, Independent Wealth Managers based in Surrey provide friendly and highly professional financial advice to HNW Private Clients and businesses in the local area and London. Areas of advice are retirement planning, investment and saving advice, pensions, inheritance tax, estate planning, mortgages, equity release or employee benefits.

The Financial Adviser will generally work in unison with a Financial Administrator and Paraplanner to ensure that clients receive a high level of service. The Financial Adviser should have the skills to work without support. The Financial Adviser will be responsible for the following tasks: -

1. Develop and maintain profitable relationships with both existing and new clients

2. Provide financial advice to new and existing clients across a broad range of planning areas (e.g. Protection, Savings and Investments, Pensions (both personal and company), as well as Estate and Tax Planning areas.

3. Work alongside Financial Administrators and Paraplanners to prepare and implement agreed planning solutions

4. Be able to carry out financial administration required to complete client work if no support is available

5. Reviewing clients’ financial affairs and arrangements at least once a year.

The Financial Planner will pass on duties to a Financial Administrator such as completion of application forms, obtaining compliance paperwork, investment implementation, etc. However, the Financial Planner will be ultimately responsible for the implementation of any solutions agreed between the client and the Financial Planner including the following tasks: -

Essential Skills:

Knowledge of financial services products and planning solutions, coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services.

• Able to work within defined business processes and achieve agreed outcomes without supervision

• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan own workload without direct supervision

• Good eye for detail and accuracy

• Excellent inter-personal skills, both written and verbal

• Good IT, administration, and office skills

• Excellent report writing skills

• Ability to work independently, or as part of a team

Salary in the region of £60,000 Neg (commissions and benefits to be discussed at interview)
