My client is a highly reputable Godalming-based Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) that has been in business for more than 20 years. They offer a comprehensive range of financial and mortgage advice services to local families, pensioners, and high net worth individuals. I've visited the offices, met the directors, and hired five employees. Although they do have clients farther away, their main clientele is concentrated around London, Hampshire, and Surrey. Clients' investable assets range from £100k to £1 million or more. Although the company has a lengthy history of working with its clients, it also maintains contacts with several prominent sports teams, which helps them bring in new business.

The Managing Director is looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to join the team and support the overall operation of the business after a very successful year in which the advisers received a lot of new business. You will be working on gathering client financial information, writing letters of authority and valuation, onboarding new clients, performing AML checks, corresponding with product providers, and preparing all meeting documents and required materials. It will be very helpful to have some familiarity with the "Intelligent Office" system. The company makes use of a variety of systems, including Transact, Elevate, Quilter, Aviva, and Standard Life Wrap. You will get access to parking, study assistance for any examinations you are taking, a lot of expertise working with Paraplanners, and a knowledgeable advisor. The position will be lucrative.

The basic remuneration for the position is £35,000. In addition to an outstanding pension contribution, you will receive a comprehensive induction and a substantial 25-day holiday allowance.
