We are seeking a dynamic Sales Negotiator to join a fast-paced and expanding business. This is a varied role within an internal sales office environment, offering the opportunity to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Depot Manager and Sales Manager on all internal sales activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Engage in training on sales systems, products, and processes with senior management and suppliers.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including quotations, system maintenance, and managing price lists.
  • Track and report on sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in customer visits and sales development activities, including cold calling and networking.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales processes.
  • Pursue leads from various sources and respond to customer inquiries by phone or email.
  • Provide holiday cover for internal sales staff when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable with a positive attitude.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.

  • Basic understanding of the construction industry and relevant products.
