Reed are working with a highly successful school and sixth form located near Guildford, who are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Psychology. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving academic community with a strong emphasis on professional development and student success.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver engaging and effective A Level Psychology lessons following the AQA specification.
Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and a passion for learning psychology.
Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning experiences.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues within the department to continuously develop and improve the curriculum and teaching resources.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of departmental goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Psychology.
Experience in teaching A Level Psychology is essential.
Ability to teach A Level Sociology and/or KS3 Science is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching strategies.
A passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
