Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective A Level Psychology lessons following the AQA specification.
  • Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and a passion for learning psychology.
  • Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department to continuously develop and improve the curriculum and teaching resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of departmental goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Psychology.
  • Experience in teaching A Level Psychology is essential.
  • Ability to teach A Level Sociology and/or KS3 Science is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching strategies.
  • A passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
