Mortgage Administrator Key Responsibilities:
- Process mortgage applications from initial submission through to completion
- Communicate with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure timely progression of applications
- Maintain accurate records of client data and ensure all documentation is complete and up to date
- Assist in preparing mortgage-related paperwork, including loan offers and contracts
- Monitor and manage pipeline to ensure that all applications meet deadlines
- Provide administrative support to mortgage advisors and clients
- Assist with the resolution of any issues or queries during the application process
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Mortgage Administrator Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in mortgage administration or a similar financial services role is essential
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and the application process
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Mortgage Administrator Desirable:
- Experience using mortgage processing software
- Residential, Buy-to-Let and Bridging Finance experience.
