Commercial Property Lawyer

We are expanding our commercial property team and are keen to engage with candidates from all levels of experience. This role involves high-quality commercial property work from our new, purpose-fitted offices in Godalming, providing an excellent environment for professional growth.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle landlord and tenant work, acting for local landlords, tenants, SIPP providers, and portfolio owners.
  • Manage commercial freehold acquisitions and disposals.
  • Oversee land development projects ranging from single units to over 100 unit strategic sites, including handling options, conditional contracts, promotion agreements with multiple stakeholders, and infrastructure agreements.
  • Conduct financing work, acting for both borrowers and lenders.
  • Work closely within a close-knit team, providing legal expertise and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
  • Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law, land development, and financing.
  • Excellent legal analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
