We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Lawyer with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of tasks including powers of attorney, deputyships, Court of Protection matters such as statutory wills, and managing the affairs of incapacitated or vulnerable clients. Additionally, the role involves dealing with wills and estate administration.

Day to day of the role:

  • Manage a caseload involving powers of attorney, deputyships, and other Court of Protection matters.
  • Assist incapacitated or vulnerable clients in managing their affairs.
  • Draft and execute wills and administer estates.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on private client matters.
  • Maintain high standards of client care and service.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years PQE in private client law.
  • Strong experience with powers of attorney, deputyships, and Court of Protection matters.
  • Proven track record of managing the affairs of incapacitated or vulnerable clients.
  • Competence in wills drafting and estate administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
